Collectivity Bio:

Collectivity is a Bay Area–based jazz-funk and psychedelic soul project built around deep groove, dynamic arrangements, and high-level musicianship. Led by guitarist and composer Ben Misterka, the band blends modern rhythm music with improvisation, cinematic textures, and a strong emphasis on live energy and audience connection.

Known for expansive live performances, Collectivity moves fluidly between tightly arranged material and open improvisation, creating sets that feel both intentional and spontaneous. The project draws from jazz, funk, soul, and psychedelic rock, delivering a sound that is rhythm-driven, exploratory, and built for dance-forward stages as well as listening audiences.

Little John the DJ Bio:

Acid house disco & bass with one foot in the ghetto and the other on the moon.

One of the ubiquitous fixtures of the Northern California party scene, Little John is more than just a DJ or an icon, he is a force of nature.

Most successful DJ/producers choose one genre to master. Few have Little John’s ability to handle a wide variety of music with the same intensity, knowledge, savviness, and intensity.

Little John is a creative talent who globally and musically transcends genres and limitations. An extraordinary deejay, producer, remixer, and music historian, Little John possesses a remarkable mix of musical abilities and has been rocking dancefloors up and down the west coast for over a decade.

He got his start in the creative hotbed of the mid-’90s San Francisco underground house scene and the incredibly diverse Santa Cruz free party scene. Later becoming a resident of the legendary 13 Moon Tribe parties, while pioneering the wildly successful Raindance parties like “The Freaker’s Ball,” “Chinese New Year,” and the “Raindance Campout,” all of which are still going strong today.

His discerning ear, musically open mind, and ability to read the crowd is what sets him apart from the pack. He brings to the table a unique approach that must be experienced. This innovator unites factions and taps into new levels of creativity just for the art of it.

In Honor of Anthony Ant:

We have something special in the works to HONOR our late friend, the King of the Funk Jams, Mr. GLORY, ANTHONY ANT.

There are a few days left to submit your art and design ideas to be chosen for a mural honoring our beloved Anthony Ant, to be revealed at the event.

We have had some amazing submissions so far. We can’t wait to see how this turns out.

However, murals are not cheap, especially one that is fitting to honor a FUNK KING. If you are in a position to, please consider donating to the cause so that we can do right by Ant with this mural.
